True Love

How can I explain to you in words how amazing NYC was? I can't. It was magical. It was glorious. It was expensive. It was like the grown up version of Disney World.
We ate until we could eat no more, then we walked 30 blocks and got a snack. The food was amazing. If you ever go, I now have recommendations.
I knew before we went that I would fall truly, madly, deeply in love with the city. I had no idea how much David would love it! Boyfriend was like a fish in the water.
There are so many times where we were walking, freezing our butts off, and just looked at eachother and said "I LOVE THIS". We just loved how you walk everywhere. How 30 blocks to dinner isn't a big deal. How the Subway didn't feel unsafe, but instead felt normal.
I seriously just loved it there. I loved the food, the people, the buildings, and espcially being there with David. This was our first trip "alone" together since we went to Chicago when we first started dating over 5 years ago.

We did have our tourguides and friends, Marie and her roommate Sasha (David's new bestie) but the majority of the time was spent just the two of us, walking around and figuring out how to get where we wanted to be.
We know that it might not be everyone's cup of tea, but for us it was paradise. Our lovely hostesses are both going to Grad School in the fall, and we are thinking that a short trip back may be in the cards before then, just to go and eat a few place we didn't get to and spend more time in the Met . . .and maybe check out grad schools for David! Even tho that is a few years away.

I want to live there, and experince everything it has to offer. I say it loud and I say it proud I LOVE NEW YORK!

And its hot chocolate.

The end.

We sat next to a guy on the plane the other day who was telling us all about Junior's Cheesecake. Was it marvelous?
